Owen E. Stewart, CPA, CMA

Owen Stewart is CFO for WAI-WIZE. In this capacity Owen oversees all WAI-WIZE financial matters including tax filing, investment strategies, banking relationships, employee financial plans and monthly financial statements.

Owen has more than 28 years of progressive accounting and financial planning experience.

At Stewart Business Services, LLC, Owen serves as a sole owner. In this business he works primarily with small/medium size business entrepreneurs to provide services to include: assist management with cash management and capital needs; set up and implement accounting systems and chart of accounts; develop and ensure financials statements are prepared in accordance GAAP; develop strategies to fail proof businesses and achieve success; assist in development of business plans, budgets and forecasts; develop accounting policies/procedures; participates in the development and implementation of process improvements; prepare Federal, Sales and Franchise Tax Returns; develop customer service processes and provide review and compilation services.

At JC Penney Company, Inc., Owen held a number of positions including CFO, Comptroller, Regional Manager and Special Project Manager. For many of these departments Owen had full P&L responsibility. Owen worked for JC Penney's from 1978 to 2000.

Owen has to his credit a BS in Accounting from the University of New Haven, Connecticut. He has also earned his CPA and CMA certifications.
